More Sweater Knitting

So I finished Clue 1 of the Carol Feller Tabouli KAL and I’m very happy with the results. Trying to raise the bar on the types of sweaters I’m able to knit.  Not sure I would have done this one on my own but with Carol’s tutorials and the help available if you need it in her Ravelry group for the KAL I’m having absolutely no problem at all.

I finished Clue 1 with several days to spare before the release of Clue 2 (which comes out on the 28th) so I started another sweater for in between clues.  This one is completely brainless and in fingering weight so it should keep me busy in between clues. The pattern is Knitting Pure and Simple’s Top Down Light Weight Cardigan Pattern #123.  Like all of the Knitting Pure and Simple patterns, it is so well written.

We were hoping to stain the back deck this weekend.  It needs it really bad but Mother Nature is not cooperating so instead we’ll spend Memorial Day attempting a 20 mile hike. By the time I get done with that, I’ll be more than ready to sit and knit :)
