I've jumped on the Instant Pot bandwagon. I love this contraption. Tonight I made Teriyaki Porkloin from Laurel Randolph's book (pictured below) and it turned out great. I made the marinade early in the morning, spent the day out with knitting/quilting friends and then finished cooking it for dinner in the Instant Pot. Twenty five minutes later dinner was done. Also made the rice in the Instant Pot using the rice cooker mode. I've seen the last of burned or boiling over rice in this kitchen.

Once In A While
This was a quickie quilt top I whipped up in less than a week. The pattern is called "Once In A While" and the pattern is in the March/April 2017 "Quilting Quickly" Fons and Porter Magazine. There were several nice patterns in the magazine. I wouldn't have bought the magazine just for this pattern. All it is is rectangles and half square triangles. I opted to not use the red and blue half square triangles and made it strictly scrappy. I have the need for speed and extra thinking while sitting behind a sewing machine does not appeal to me.
Here is the quilt that was in the magazine. Below is my version which friends say reminds them of hot air balloons, the circus, Skittles and Jolly Ranchers.
