The Canning Begins



Last year's lack of rain made our garden pitiful.  This year it's doing really good so I'll be marathon canning again I'm sure.  Had a productive Sunday canning strawberries we picked locally.  We made strawberry jam and strawberry basil jam using the basils I'm growing on the back deck.  If they bottled a basil scented perfume, I'd wear it :). 

Next batch will be strawberry pineapple jam with honey. Pictures soon :)
