"Knit To Fit Eventually" Sweater

Yeah it's done.  This is a Amy Herzog Knit to "Fit" custom pattern.  It didn't fit.  I took a class at a local yarn shop by one of the certified KTF teachers.  Even though the sweater was larger than the gauge on the back, it still was way too tight.  I wouldn't wear it in public.   I've lost more than 20 lbs. and I'd say it almost fits so I'm calling it my "Knit To Fit Eventually" Sweater.  If it looks better on one of my friends, they can have it.  The yarn is Cascade 220 Superwash and I really liked working with it.  I skipped the buttons and just added a mini shawl pin at the top.  I started it in May 2014.  It's done, wouldn't make another one, moving on.

You seem to find patterns easier than I can. Do you know where I could find a free pattern for a ladies knitted raglan sweater? Thanks for any direction you can point me to...

If you aren't on Ravelry.com, sign up. It's free to join and there are millions of free patterns on the site. You can narrow down the search by looking for "Raglan Sweater" and then click on "knitting", "free", the size you're looking for, the weight of the yarn you plan on using, whether it is for a male or a female, etc.
