Stash busting continued. Made this using the Creative Grid Scrap Crazy 6 template set. They are in just about every quilt shop. Amazon is even carrying them now. I used my pile of Downton Abbey fat quarters to make it. The only thing I needed to order Downton fabric for the binding. Got that at Fabric.com. I'd like to support my local quilt shop but the good ones are not close and sometimes it's just easier, cheaper and more productive to order it on line.

Herb Garden Gauntlet pattern from the book Highland Knits Knitwear Inspired by the OUtlander Series. Pattern is by Carol Ruhl
I'm not sure what yarn this is but it's worsted weight. Fun pattern. I'm being told I'll be making more of these :). My friends are very subtle :)

Pattern is from the book "Highland Knits Knitwear Inspired by the Outlander Series". This pattern is called Falling Leaves Boot Cuff by Fiona Hamilton-Maclaren.
The yarn is Amherst by Webs (worsted weight) in the natural color. It's the same yarn I did the Brooklyn Tween Guernsey shawl in.
My sock blockers are made by Burning Impressions, a shop on Etsy. She customizes each set and will burn anything you want into the sock blocker including names. Nice nice lady and you'll be supporting a small business owner and artist.
These are going to my veterinarian who saved my dog's life last week. My dog is only 10 lbs. and a porcupine attacked her last week. One of the quills punctured her lung. Emergency surgery and a lot of medications but she'll be okay :). Porcupine's days are numbered. Making a pair of gauntlets for the technician too. Pictures to follow soon.
