Started this yesterday. Recipe calls for them to sit for about 12 hours before you start the second half of the process. The recipe is Cucumber Chips from the Complete book of home Preserving by Ball. I can't find it on line to share. It's on their Fresh Preserving website :( So I'm caught up on my pickling cucumbers.....have a ton of zucs to do something with and the tomatoes are starting to kick into high gear. The jalapeno peppers are looking good too.
