Latest quilting project...

I'm having way too much fun with this new project.  The next block is the quilter's dress :)  Then there has to be a Christmas party dress, a Valentines Day dress, a basic "little black dress", a Halloween dress, animal print dress (Kar) :)  etc., etc. :)

What a great quilt that would make for a young bride whose mom made her clothes from infancy to teen and kept all the scraps. I have the flower garden quilt my mom made and it has a few pieces from clothes she made me as a toddler....I'm 77 now. I'm anxious to see the end result.

The dresses are a great project to make... Will you make a quilt when complete ??

Rilly-this one is working up really quick. Last night I made three more blocks. I'm thinking 20 would make a decent size quilt and then add a border. I'm having way too much fun picking out fabrics from my stash.

Pattas-Yes I'm making a bed size quilt out of it. My default size is usually queen but I may make a couple of these in twin size or full size for the younger nieces and step-grand daughter.

The same designer (Lori Holt) has one with lamps and lamp shades. OMG that sounds like a fun one too...can we just add 24 more hours to my day please :)

Thanks Pat. I'm house hunting now so I had to put it away for a while but I found some really cute fabrics to add to it :) Already know it's going to my little red headed neighbor :)
