I hope my rendition of this pattern is as lovely as yours.
Evelyn I started another one...Let me break it down another way for you: First you start with the instructions under the word WRAP in the pattern. Then you start working the "Pattern Stitches" on the top of the page. At first on all the odd number rows you are increasing by knitting into the front and back of the last stitch in the garter area (right before the marker). You do that once. Then you keep working the "Pattern stitches" and you only increase on row 3, 7 and 11 in the garter stitches until you have a total of 33 stitches. Then you increase only on rows 5 and 11 as you keep repeating the pattern stitches. Then you do 12 repeats of the pattern stitches without increasing at all. Then on the "down side" of the shawl you are decreasing basically the same way. Hope this helps you a bit more.
