When all else fails, call in the professionals....

I was going for an English garden wild flower look.....but after everything bloomed it just looked like weeds so the hubster took a weed whacker to it :)
Before...clearly we don't know what we are doing :)

Okay now all I have to do is not back over this when I'm doing one of those 30 point turns to get around the cars in the driveway. Hope those spider plants are sturdy.

One hosta plant...let's see how long it lasts.  He put it near the front porch so only the bravest of deer can eat it.

Okay so I've got the hostess gifts ready for the Halloween party, I probably should start thinking of a costume.

September 11th Memorial Cross Stitch  <------------- link for the designers web site

I found this pattern today at my favorite counted cross stitch shop (The Stitching Post in Catonsville, Maryland).  Wish I had it yesterday. I could have been working on it while watching the September 11 Memorial Services and thinking about the lives lost on that terrible day.   Thanks Louise for creating something so pretty to commemorate this day.

Candy Corn Wine Bottle Gift Bag

Pattern by Hilary Carr

Today while I was watching some of the
September 11 Memorial Services on TV, I started and finished making this to bring to a Halloween party.
