Taking it up a notch

400 Knitting Stitches

Trying to take my knitting skills up a notch.  Tried this star block.  I needed a little help with the double vertical decrease but I found a video on You-tube that got me through it :)
It's pretty and I used the Berrocco Vintage Wortsted Weight Yarn but I have no idea what I'll ever do with this.

Meatballs for the Halloween Party

Just so you don't think I would only bring a litter box full of "poo" to a party. I'm also making a batch of these :)

Appetizer Meatballs

1 1/4 cup of packed brown sugar
one can of sauerkraut with liquid
1 jar of chili sauce
1 jar of water (from the empty chili sauce bottle)
one can of whole jelled cranberries
plain prepared meatballs from the frozen food section (appetizer size)

Combine all the ingredients and pour over meatballs in the crock pot.  Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
I left the lid off for most of teh cooking so that the sauce would thicken.

I know it sounds like an unlikely combination of stuff but it is really good. :)

Halloween Party Kitty Litter Cake

Totally gross I know. Got this recipe from a friend who is an Animal Control Officer.

Patons Upside Downer Pullover

The first sweater I ever made that I could wear in public...without shame :)

Second Version of the Sweater.
It's way too big but I wear it around the house in the winter anyway.
