Sweet Spicy Glazed Salmon

Turned out GREAT!  From Cooking Light magazine :)

Delivered to the Amish furniture repairman

I brought the completely stripped and sanded table top to Reuben Kurtz today so that he can apply the stain and the finish to the table top.  He loves when I bring him stuff because all the time consuming hard work is done :)  I don't trust myself to apply the stain and finish and he has a generator powered machine that does a a really nice job.  You just have to know how to get to his shop :)

Kitchen Table During Pictures

This is so much easier to do than the antique hutch. Less nooks and crannies.  This is after just two go arounds with the stripper.

Refinishing the kitchen table-Before pictures

This summer's refinishing job.  I do the hard work stripping and sanding and then I hand it off to Mr. Kurtz, an Amish woodworker, so he can apply the stain and finish for me.  Goodbye to the heat stain from the hot lasagna tray (but damn that was a fun party), the water marks and the cat scratches. I'm sure they will be replaced by new damage eventually :)

Hankie Quilt In The Works

Made using the 2004 RJR Hooked on Hankies line.
Just need to put the borders on.
